The three real threats on shared surfaces
It helps to separate what you're actually fighting, because the fix is different for each.

Writing this down somewhere visible (a laminated card by the pump, a chalkboard by the outhouse) does more for compliance than any amount of good intention, particularly once decision fatigue sets in and every small task starts to feel like one more thing to remember.

Finally, don't ignore ventilation.
