Every calculator and the system planner publishes its formulas and assumptions, and all of them are wrong somewhere, because every site and household is different. If a tool's answer did not match your reality, post the tool, your inputs, and what actually happened. The assumptions get corrected and the changes get logged publicly at /corrections.
